Kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria failed to win Best Performance by an Actress at the 44th Annual International Emmy Awards held today, November 22 in New York City
Christiane Paule from Germany won the award for her performance in Under the Radar besting other nominees like Judi Dench and Grazi Massafera.
Clad in a long white gown by fashion designer Mark Bumgarner, Sta Maria walked the red carpet at the Hilton New York Hotel.
With her are ABS-CBN Chief Content Officer Charo Santos-Concio and other nominees from the Philippines - Des Tanwangco and Henry Quitain - the writers of ABS-CBN series Bridges of Love which is nominated for Best Telenovela category.
Best Telenovela Award went to Hidden Truths from Brazil.
