More than two years after kapuso stars Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla separated, Aljur has confirmed hat he and Kylie have reconciled.
In an article published by entertainment website PEP.ph yesterday, Aljur admitted that he never lost his love for Robin Padilla's daughter. This is the reason why he remained single for the last couple of years.
“Hindi naman siya [pagmamahal] nawala. We keep our connection together", the actor opened up
Rumors of reconciliation started when a photo of the two of them circulated in social media when they were in Japan in time for holidays last Monday.
When asked how their second shot to love started, Aljur said, “Recently lang, months ago...’
“Continuous yung pagkikita namin, but this time, naramdaman ko sa sarili ko, bilang isang lalaki. I really took time na wala talaga akong naging karelasyon, na-realize ko sa sarili ko na ‘I love this girl.’
Aljur admitted that it was only this September when they officially got back together again.
The actor didn't promise anything for Kylie but wants to tell her that he wants to grow with Kylie in all aspects of life.
“Ang gusto ko lang naman, Kylie, makasama kang mag-grow, spiritually, emotionally, physically, sa lahat ng aspeto ng buhay.’
“Sa lahat ng pinagdaanan, na-realize ko na masaya akong kasama ka. Anuman ang mga nangyari dati, mga bata pa tayo noon. Ngayon, I think mas nakakaintindi na tayo, handa na ako.’
“It’s not gonna be easy’, Aljur said.
