Are they?

Both Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil updated their respective Instagram accounts with photos of them together while having a candlelight dinner somewhere in Tagaytaty City on Tuesday night, October 24.

In a previous interview with Boy Abunda sometime in July last year, Enrique said they treat each other like boyfriend and girlfriend.



But in a separate interview, Liza was quick to deny Quen's statement. “Hoy, hindi ah!” said Liza when asked about their relationship.

"Yunng lolo ko ayaw pa niya. Sabi niya hintay pa raw ako ng mga 25.", Liza added.

Liza will only be turning 20 on January next year and waiting for the age of 25 is like forever? Can love wait? No? No.

Liza Soberano's recent MMK episode featuring the life story of 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach made a whooping 36.2% - a rating which was also set by its previous episode featuring Angel Locsin's return.

The data was based on the national ratings released by Kantar Media.

"Yes, it is confirmed. Tinatanggap ko na ang role na Darna", 19-year old Liza Soberano confirmed the buzz in an interview by MJ Felipe which aired on TV Patrol Tuesday night.

Liza, who has a handful of successful tv series and blockbuster movies under her belt emerged as the top choice of Star Cinema executives after its original chosen actress Angel Locsin had to drop the role due to health reasons.

Like any other actress that could be chosen, Liza is just as honored to be chosen as the next superheroine.

"I feel really honored t be able to don the iconic costume and to be able to embody what Darna represents", Liza said.

Ogie Diaz on rumors about Liza Soberano playing Darna, "Wait for the official announcement"

Buzz about Liza Soberano donning the red suit after actress Angel Locsin was officially dropped out from the project due to health reasons started to get stronger after veteran entertainment columnist Ricky Lo wrote about it earlier this week confirming Liza as the newest Darna.

Her talent manager, comedian and radio anchor Ogie Diaz, cannot help but react on the issue. On DZMM's "Sakto" on Friday where he serves as the anchor, Diaz said that he is just waiting for the official announcement of Star Cinema.

"Sa totoo lang, isa lang ang sinasabi ko, hintayin nating mag-announce ang Star Cinema", Ogie said.

"Ayaw ko pong umepal. Ayaw ko sa akin manggaling kung ano ang desisyon nila, kung si Liza ba o ibang aktres ang gaganap na Darna," he reasoned out.

Prior to this, Ogie has also asked Star Cinema executives why it's taking them long to announce the new Darna.

"Mag-a-announce kami.' Hintayin niyo lang'", was the only reply he got.

But when asked if Liza wants to play the most coveted and anticipated role, Diaz said

"Oo, gustong-gusto ni Liza maging Darna. Totoo yan, totoo yan. Siyempre sino ba naman ang ayaw maging Darna."

Ogie  also added that if it's definitely Liza, the next thing they got is who should play her sidekick "Ding"

The still currently showing film My Ex and Whys which stars Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano has grossed P341 million worldwide, LizQuen's highest grossing film to date and it's just in its third week of showing in theaters.

The great news was announced at the victory party held for the cast, crew, and staff of the LizQuen film Friday night. Star Cinema has also announced it in their social media accounts.

Incidentally, the film has also broken KathNiel's highest grossing film.

My Ex And Whys makes P27 million on its first day at the box office

The latest movie from Star Cinema My Ex And Whys which stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil made a whooping PHP27 million on its first day at the box office.

Star Cinema announced on their social media accounts late Wednesday night.

The film follows the story of Cali (Soberano) a blogger who owns the upcoming blog, "The Bakit List," and her ex Gio (Gil) who will return to her life unexpectedly and surprisingly.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the movie initially ran at 230 theaters nationwide and is expected to add additional theaters tomorrow.


Update:

Star Cinema has released My Ex And Whys's official first day box office gross Thursday morning and it has reached to as high as P31.5 million. The number of theaters screening the movie also went up to 250 cinemas.

Oge Alcasid, officially announced as the newest kapamilya; wants to work with Liza Soberano

Kapuso-turned-kapatid singer/comedian Ogie Alcasid is the latest celebrity to join the kapamilya network.

In a press conference held on Thursday afternoon, December 15, Alcasid will be joining fellow artists Gary Valenciano and Sharon Cuneta to sit as part of the jury in ABS-CBN's Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids edition.

Are Liza Soberano and Julia Montes Coco Martin's new leading ladies in new show?

How true are the reports circulating online that Coco Martin's new leading ladies for his new show are Julia Montes (his rumored girlfriend) and LizQuens's half, Liza Soberano?

An article was published on balita.com.ph that ABS-CBN's top-rating program Ang Probinsyano will end next year and that the network is planning to replace it with "Batang Quiapo" - another FPJ movie which will be adapted to television.

Both Liza and Julia are rumored to become Coco's love interests for the upcoming show.

In another article written by Regee Bonoan, Ang Probinsyano's program manager Dagang Vilbar did not pay much attention to questions about Liza and Julia being Coco's next leading ladies.

What she vehemently denied is reports that Batang Quiapo will replace Ang Probinsyano. According to her, there is no such thing as BQ be translated into a tv series as it has the same concept as AP.

“Hindi totoo ‘yun kasi maiksi lang ‘yung 'Batang Quiapo,' hindi puwedeng gawing series ‘yun, dahil kung ganun din lang, eh ano'ng pagkakaiba sa 'Ang Probinsyano'? Halos same lang naman ang concept ng 'Batang Quiapo' at ng 'Ang Probinsyano'?

When Liza was asked for her comment regarding the rumored plans of the network in an interview on Thursday, she sees nothing wrong with working with Martin.

LizQuens in the US surely had the best night when they witnessed themselves how sweet and magical it was watching Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano on stage.

The couple is currently in the US to perform with fellow kapamilya loveteam Kim Chiu and Xian Lim for a two-night "One Magical Night" concert in two cities.

While on stage, the concert's emcee asked them what is the sweetest thing they've done for each other.
