Kim Chiu, Sarah Geronimo, Alden Richards, among Billboard PH's Top 20 artists for August 2016

Billboard Philippines has released their list of top 20 Artists Charts.

Artists and music celebrities were ranked based on their popularity on select Social Media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) The chart is not meant to reflect their success on album sales, music streams or song downloads.

Topping the list is Yeng Constantino with almost 11 million followers on Facebook, 6M on Twitter, and 2.7 million on Instagram. Chinita Princess Kim Chiu lands in second spot with 10.8 million followers on FB, 980K on Twitter, and 3M on Instagram.

Instagram-less Toni Gonzaga-Soriano is at no. 3, followed by Sarah Geronimo, and Jennylyn Mercado at 5th.

Is Aga Muhlach returning to ABS-CBN via Pinoy Boyband Superstar?

Pinoy Band Superstar is an upcoming ABS-CBN reality-based search for the next top boy band in the country. Initially, three judges were named to sit in the panel of judges - Phenomenal box office star Vice Ganda, Pop Rock icon Yeng Constantino, ang K-Pop sensation Sandara Park.

But in the latest teaser - there are now four judges - the fourth one is a heartthrob.

Lui Andrada, Business Unit Head of ABS-CBN, in his Instagram post, described the four judges as this:

1. PHENOMENAL 👑

The initial sight of the silhouette struck me with a photo of Heartthrob Aga Muhlach that is similar to that (see first photo). Megastar Sharon Cuneta returned to ABS-CBN via a reality competion with a similar format, why not Doc Aga?

OMG! Sam Milby thrills audience at Yeng Constantino's Chinito number

OMG! Sam Milby may not be invited to perform at ICON concert of Yeng Constantino, Gloc 9, and Rico Blanco but he made all the ladies (and ladies at heart) go scream for KILIG when his face was flashed during Yeng's rendition of her hit song Chinito.

It was so spontaneous that even Sam, who was seated in the audience, was caught surprised seeing his face flashed at big screen and it was that moment when he smiled and made the girls scream. OMG!

MYX Music Awards 2014 List of Awards and Nominees

MYX music channel has announced the official list of nominees for each category for their annual MYX Music Awards or MMA. This year, a total of 18 categories, where artists both local and international, are nominated.

Front-runners for this year's music awards are Sarah Geronimo, Yeng Constantino, Daniel Padilla, Gloc 9, and Callalily.

Voting for your favorite artists is done in two ways:
