Due to the success of currently airing "requel" of Encantadia, GMA7 plans to revive their 2004-hit series Mulawin - the fantasy series that strengthen their hold of the top position in Mega Manila back in 2004.
In an Instagram post of talent manager Popoy Caritativo, he made it known that the kapuso network is planning to bring back the show that catapulted Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin to stardom also his talent - Dennis Trillo.
A story conference was held for Mulawin's reboot on primetime television Wednesday afternoon, November 10.
Prior to this, rumors started to circulate that GMA has plans of reviving the show and it said that teen loveteam Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali will headline the series but up to this point, no confirmation regarding such news.
What's confirmed is Dennis Trillo would be the biggest star in Mulawin remake. It is not known, however, if the series would still follow his 2004 version character of Gabriel - an ordinary human at first but was later revealed as Ravena.or he'll be playing a new character.
We prefer the first one. :)
