You wont believe this but actress Iza Calzado had a chance encounter with football superstar David Beckham while grocery shopping in Erewhon in Los Angeles. We don't know when it did exactly happen but Iza shared her experience just yesterday through her Instagram account @missizacalzado.
"Posted this story on my private Facebook account earlier and thought It would be nice to share it with you guys.. I just met and had a lovely chat with David Beckham at Erewhon!!!!!"
But if we're going to base her story, she met Beckham nine months after he visited the Philippines a few months after typhoon Yolanda's devastation.
"He told me he was in the PH 9 months ago and I asked if it was for a football thing and he said Unicef sent him there."
If David visited the country February 2014, the chance encounter would've happened November of 2014. That's like almost two years ago.
On her Instagram post, Iza shared how she sparked up a conversation with David. She even thanked the football star for helping out the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
“He was the nicest and even said bye to me as I was leaving and said, ‘It was very nice to meet you.
Unfortunately, the actress wasn't able to take a selfie with Beckham. According to her, she would rather remember conversation and that it made her feel him like human being rather than a piece of public property.
Oh, sige na nga!
