Bea Alonzo makes a statement against film piracy

This generation's Movie Queen Bea Alonzo made a statement through her Instagram account @beaalonzo to condemn movie piracy in the country..

Alonzo posted a photo of her wearing a white shirt and an eye patch covering her one eye which pirates are known for. She captioned the photo, "bawal ang pirata".

The campaign which Star Cinema started came after an HD Quality of the film outfit's movie "The Achy Breaky Hearts" were illegally uploaded and shared by netizens on Facebook.

Alonzo is currently filming How To Be Yours (po) with Gerald Anderson and will be released in theaters on the 27th this month.
