She's Dating The Gangster director explains the "Albularyo look" of Daniel Padilla

Daniel Padilla's look in soont-be-shown movie She's Dating The Gangster with Kathryn Bernardo has become the subject of criticisms and mockery of netizens. A lot of them say Daniel sported more an albularyo (quack doctor) look than a gangster.

In bloggers conference held for the movie this morning July 15, Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina explained why Daniel was made to look just like that. The box-office director said they pegged Hollywood actor Johnny Depp in Kenji character (Padilla).

Box-office writer Carmi Raymundo said the movie version is entirely different from the printed version. Direk Cathy asked first the original book writer regarding the revisions that will be made to the movie.

She's Dating The Gangster is showing tomorrow, July 16 in more than 100 cinemas nationwide.
