Dreamscape's social media publicity head Eric John Salut directly accused some people he did not name of sabotaging Ikaw Lamang for not trending on Twitter. Dreamscape is one of ABS-CBN's tv production units that's in-charge of production of Kim Chiu-Coco Martin series.
In his series of Twitter posts on Tuesday night July 9, Salut noticed the show's official hashtag #IkawLamangBitterSweetUnion wasn't trending despite numerous tweets being posted.

According to several tech websites, blocking hashtags on Twitter is possible but it is just the same as muting your own phone from incoming messages and not someone else's phone. You can do this by installing a plugin using Chrome browser to mute someone on Twitter from flooding your timeline... just like what Salut does to his followers.
