"EXCESS BAGGAGE"
That's how Cedric Lee describes "friend" Deniece Cornejo, a co-accused in Vhong Navarro's mauling incident last January 22. In an interview made by ABS-CBN reporter, Lee was asked the whereabouts of Cornejo.
"Hindi ko po alam." Lee said in jest. "Mabagal iyon. Di namin pwedeng isama. Excess baggage iyon." added Lee.
Lee and another co-accused Simeon "Zimmer" Raz were arrested in Oras, Eastern Samar at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, and arrived in Manila in handcuffs at 7:43 a.m. the following day.The two were brought to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) headquarters in Manila, where they were processed and are currently detained.
When Lee was asked again how is Zimmer related to him, Lee jokingly said "All around. Kusinero, trainer, bodyguard, driver."
Lee also denied he still has communication with other co-accused in the case.
