Kris Aquino denied categorically that she's not running as Vice President in 2016 elections. This what she declared in an episode of Aquino and Abunda Tonight Tuesday night March 4.
"No truth. Huwag silang gumawa ng intriga kasi hindi talaga totoo.... No plans, has not been discussed. It's not on the table... Hindi pa handa ang Pilipinas!"
But Aquino believes that politics runs in her blood. Her father was a senator and her mother held the country's top position after her father's death. And his brother Noynoy Aquino, won the 2010 elections as president after their mother died.
"I believe naman nasa dugo pero at this point in my life siguro categorically kaya kong magsalita nang patapos, sa 2016, it's not yet my time. Let's talk about 2019. Yung 2016, I'll do what Noy did. Naghintay siya, di ba? Mon stepped down in 1992. He did not seek election until if I'm not mistaken, 1998. So sundan ko na lang ang yapak niya."
