Stars of GMA 2013 hit primetime series My Husband's Lover Carla Abellana and Tom Rofriguez are working together anew in a romantic-drama movie So It's You under Regal Films. Joining them is kapuso-turned-kapamilya star JC De Vera.
Formerly titled Let's Take A Chance, So It's You is about Lira, played by Carla Abellana, a newly-rich girl whose ex-boyfriend Tony (JC de Vera) plans to marry Pauleen (Gee Canlas). Lira will then meet Gorio, played by Tom Rodriguez, a shoe factory designer with an eight year old son.
Directed by Jun Lana, a self-confessed Korean movie fanatic, the So It's You pegs popular romantic movies like My Sassy Girl, Love Actually, and Valentines Day in terms of attack, flow of the story and the cinematography.
So It's You also stars Arlene Muhlach, Kevin Santos, Marc Justine Alvarez, and Joey Marquez. The movie opens in cinemas nationwide this summer 2014.
