Veteran actress Cherie Gil walked out of the set of the ABS-CBN soap "Ikaw Lamang," Gil posted on her Twitter account Wednesday morning.

Dreamscape publicity head confirmed the incident on his Twitter account. Eric John Salut said Gil wanted to leave the set of "Ikaw Lamang" at 10 p.m. to attend a send-off party even though she was supposed to shoot her scenes until 2 a.m.
"To set the record straight: Cherie Gil is supposed shoot her scenes till 2AM (the usual cut off) but she wanted to leave at 10PM to attend a send off party. Siyempre, hindi siya pinayagan ng production kasi hindi siya nagpaalam ahead of time.
"She was permitted to a 2-week leave for her musical play. The day she walked out of the taping was the day she resumed taping for Ikaw Lamang. Why blame the production? Why blame the writers? This is not fair! Teka lang ha," Salut wrote.
