The Ice Bucket Challenge is a campaign to raise awareness and funds for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients. ALS is a neurodegenerative disease which causes the patient to lose control of his muscles and eventually become paralyzed.
Participants are nominated by friends to take ice cold challenge or he/she will donate $100 to the charity. In return, the participant gets to nominate three more people to do the challenge as well.
