Angel Locsin and boyfriend Luis Manzano had joined the ice bucket craze. The celebrity couple took the challenge last Thursday night at 11pm after Anne Curtis nominated them as one for the challenge.
On their respective Instagram accounts, Luis and Angel posted and we quote:

After doing the challenge, both Luis and Angel posted a screenshot after donating to alsa.org website. Angel nominated future-in-laws Gov. Vilma Santos, Sen. Ralph Recto, Luis's brother - Ryan Christian while Luis nominated father Edu Manzano, and his half-siblings Addie and Enzo.
For Angel, the ice bucket challenge is a gimmick but still happy that she took part of it as long as it could help people who are diagnosed with ALS or Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. However, the kapamilya actress called on people joining the craze to conserve water. So for their part, Luis and Angel used the pool water instead of the clean tap water.
Like many others, I think ice bucket challenge is a gimmick. pero kung magiging malaking tulong naman ito sa mga nakakaranas ng ALS, wala akong reason para hindi tumulong :) nakakatuwa na successful yung campaign in terms of raising awareness & donations :) so, congratulations ALS Association and I am praying na magiging malaki ang improvement ng research (sana walang cruelty to animals pls, hehe) o baka makahanap na ng cure!Serves double purpose for Angel huh. Btw, to my followers na laging handang mag volunteer, slow clap para sa inyo let's not forget yung ibang organizations na kelangan rin ng tulong, esp dito sa pinas :) sa kahit na anong paraan po na comfortable po sa atin.
