Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista is now engaged to Senator Chiz Escudero.
The announcement was made via social media. The senator apparently popped the question on Saturday, August 23, during a trip to his province Sorsogon.
Evangelista's friend, actress Lovi Poe posted a photo of the couple on her Instagram account we quote:
"I'm so happy for you guys! Chiz and Heart. You finally found someone who gives you that feeling that people write novels about. Someday when the time comes all I have to do is look at you both and always remember to choose happiness more than anything in this world."
The couple are currently on a trip in Sen. Escudero's home province in Sorsogon. Evangelista posted few photos earlier today on her Instagram account @iamhearte where she met Escudero's family but seemed clueless of her then boyfriend's plan for proposal.
