Jake Ejercito, son of former President and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, has put an end to rumors that he's doing a tv show soon.

Though not named or what network he's referring to, netizens are suggesting that GMA7 is considering him to star in the Koreanovela remake of "My Love from the Star" as Matteo Do, an alien who landed on earth in 1609 then lives on earth and worked as a University professor.

Initially, the role was intended for GMA's prized leading man Alden Richards but because of his over jealous fans (AlDub Nation), Alden was pulled out from the series. The network is still on the lookout for the actor who would give justice to the character.

Jake Ejercito has appeared in Eat Bulaga's Kalyeserye for a short period of time where he served as the third wheel in the love story of Alden and Yaya Dub.

Actress Jennylyn Mercado has been confirmed by the show's director Joyce Bernal to play the female lead character Steffi Cheon.
