Atom Araullo resigns as reporter from ABS-CBN

ABS-CBN's top reporter, Atom "The Guy In The Rain" Araullo, has resigned from ABS-CBN News - that's according to an article written by Noel Ferrer of  Abante Tonite.

Ferrer clarified that Araullo is just resigned from his reportorial duties but remains as host of kapamilya network's morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" and Red Alert.

But according to a blind item which surfaced prior to this, Atom is just finishing his existing shows as talent.

Atom chose to keep mum as to why he resigned from ABS-CBN as reporter but now enjoys the current work status and that he'll have more time to finish his two books which are already past its target date of completion.
