Miss World 2013 Megan Young has signed a one-year contract with GMA7 Tuesday morning, March 31. Present in the contract signing are Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, GMA COO Gilberto Duavit, and GMA Chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon.
Young is set to co-host Starstruck with Dingdong Dantes. According to earlier reports, she is set to star in the network's latest remake of Mexican telenovela Marimar which catapulted Marian Rivera (now Dantes) to stardom.
Young is a product of GMA7's first Artista Search on TV who later joined the Kapamilya network via celebrity edition of Pinoy Big Brother in 2008. Prior to her reign as Miss World 2013, she was a talent of TV 5 and appeared in various shows like Misibis Bay and Never Say Goodbye.
