Jason Dy from Team Sarah was declared “The Voice of the Philippines” on Sunday, March 1.
The 23-year-old crooner from Butuan City emerged as the winner after battling it out with Alisah Bonaobra of Team Apl for the Final 2.
Dy sang “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin” in his final showdown against Bonaobra and won 52.94% of the public votes against the latter with 47.06%.
Both Dy and Bonaobra took down Leah Patricio (3rd) of Team Lea and Rence Rapanot (4th) of Team Bamboo.
