ABS-CBN has finally revealed the actress who will play the latest remake of Dyesebel and she's none other than It's Showtime host Anne Curtis. Announcement was made afternoon of Thursday, January 9.
Curtis, who is most famous for her role as Dyosa sometime in 2008, will be donning the mermaid costume again. Anne was speechless when announcement was broke to her a day after she arrived from a holiday trip abroad.
"Gusto ko lang maging magaling na Dyesebel," Curtis said. "Gagawin ko lahat, magaaral ako ng fin swimming para maging ibang level na Dyesebel."
Also in the cast are Gerald Anderson who plays Fredo (the mortal love interest) and Anne's ex-boyfriend and long-time screen partner Sam Milby who plays Liro - the merman.
