Maine Mendoza won Favorite Pinoy Personality in the 2016 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards held at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
The AlDub fandom emerged the strongest among other fandoms beating fellow Pinoy celebrities like Enrique Gil, James Reid, and Kathryn Bernardo.
Because Maine couldn't personally accept the physical Blimp, she said as she blew a kiss to the camera, "I'm away for vacation, maybe this will do, for now. I love you all."

On Twitter today, LizQuens trended "GILALWAYS BE OUR WINNER" for Enrique while JaDines trended "WIN OR LOSE WELOVEJAMES" for James.
We're not sure if KathNiels were silent about Maine's win but we couldn't find anything related to express support for Kathryn Bernardo. Last year, it was Daniel Padilla, other half of KathNiel, who received the same award as Maine's.
