Comedy Queen Aiai Delas Alas has fully embraced the responsibility of being a mother to her "son" and former child actor Jiro Manio.
In her Instagram account on Friday, Delas Alas shared the recent development to the still on-ging rehabilitation program of Jiro. She posted a photo of them together and a video of Jiro dancing as part of the program in a separate post.
She wrote in the caption,
"Nabisita ko din ang aking anak ... at sya ay buhay na buhay .... i miss you anak 💚"
"At may dance number sila ... at nung nakita nya ko sobrang umaliwalas ang face ni jiro ... #wefoundloveinahoplessplace"
Aiai and Jiro have worked together in the past as mother and son in the movie "Ang Tanging Ina" in 2003. Jiro has done several movies and television shows until his last known role on tv as Stanley in "Tayong Dalawa".
In 2015, a video went viral in social media where Manio was seen roaming and begging for food at NAIA terminal. Celebrities expressed concern but it was Delas Alas who sent the former child actor to the rehab facility.
