Once again, reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach proved her confidence as she assured Pinoy fans that the competition for the next Miss Universe will still take place in her home country - our country - The Philippines.
In a tweet she made on Tuesday, Pia once again used her famous "Kalma lang" to calm down the anxious Pinoy fans on the rumors of impending cancellation of Miss Universe competition in the country next year.
Department of Tourism (DOT) Undersecretary Kat De Castro have already denied the rumors that the Miss Universe pageant scheduled to be held in Manila on January 2017 has been cancelled.
In 2015, Wurtzbach tweeted to calm down after Pinoy boxing champ Manny Pacquiao lost to American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a Las Vegas fight. Seven months later, Pia brought home the crown.
