In his Facebook page, Tony Calvento announced that the third rape complaint against It's Showtime host and actor Vhong Navarro has been dismissed for lack of probable cause.
And we quote:
"Before the suns set, I bring you good news.
The RAPE case fiked by Mai Fajardo vs Vhong Navarro has been DISMISSED for lack of probable cause.
Resolution dated Oct. 15, 2014 signed by Asst. City Prosecutor Nilda Ordono, recommending approval, John Patrick Corpuz and approved by City Prosecutor Donald Lee.
In essence, apart from the long delay before the complaint was filed, the dismissal was anchored on the failure to force or intimidation.
The resolution ends ;"There is no reason for complainant to be afraid of (Vhong) so as to just follow what he required her to do as the incident happened 'with lots of people around'.
Aptly. her side remark 'Okay na, baba na ko' was not in keeping with a fear struck person who was cowed into submission.
Another victory for Vhong. Justice served.
