Manny Pacquaio debuted on PBA as the 40th season of PBA opened in Philippine Arena on Sunday October 19. Pacman, being the world's pound-for-pound boxing champion, failed to score a single point for the team he's coaching - Kia Sorentos.
The Kia Sorentos lagged behind against the Blackwater Elite during the first and second quarter of the game while Pacman is playing but made a huge gap on the third and fourth quarter rounds (Pacman is out of the court).
PBA 40th Season Game 1 Scorers:
KIA 80: Revilla 23, Thiele 13, Cervantes 13, Lingganay 11, Saldua 7, Alvarez 4, Sanga 3, Webb 2, Padilla 2, Buensuceso 1, Ighalo 1, Alonzo 0, Raymundo 0, Pacquiao 0.

Pacquiao may not be a good rookie but definitely a good coach after Sorentos made a 14-point difference against the Elites (score: 80-66).
According to Pacquiao, he's not playing for his team's next game against Ginebra because he has to prepare for his boxing fight against Chris Algieri. "Hindi ako maglalaro dahil malapit na yung fight," Pacquiao said after the game on Sunday at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan, Philippines. "Baka after nung fight tsaka ako maglalaro ulit."
