The Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda recently made an Instagram post which poked fun at veteran OPM singer Jim Paredes.
The comedian posted a photo of him which asks his followers to agree with him or else he would have them talk to Paredes.
The singer recently made headline after a video of him went viral where he was seen confronting a seven-man youth group called Duterte Youth at the 31st commemoration of EDSA 31 last Sunday. Paredes, a known Yellow supporter and Duterte critic slammed the group for allegedly provoking him and the group at the rally.

How did Destined To Be Yours's pilot episode fare in the ratings game?
The first ever drama series of Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza on television has made its pilot run on primetime last night over GMA7.
"Destined To Be Yours" not only trended at the top spot worldwide but won the hearts of televiewers if we're to base the data gathered by AGB Nielsen. The MaiChard soap registered 22.5% against ABS-CBN's soap "My Dear Heart" with 19.6% tv ratings - a 2.9% difference.
Meanwhile, Kantar Media's overnight ratings say otherwise. The pilot episode of DTBY scored a national TV rating of 20.2% compared to MDH which got 29.1%.
Barbie Forteza is a recipient of NCCA's "Ani Ng Dangal" award
Kapuso teen actress Barbie Forteza must be truly proud as she is this year's recipient of National Commission for Culture and Arts (NCCA)'s "Ani Ng Dangal" award.
Forteza was chosen for her portrayal in a Louie Ignacio-directed Badjao film "Laut" which gave her a Best Actress awards at the 36th Fantasporto International Film Festival at Oporto in Portugal, Incidentally, the film also bagged a Special Mention of the Jury award
In her Instagram post, the actress thanked the commission for the award.
Other stars who have received such honor in the past are Jericho Rosales, Jake Cuenca, Anita Linda, Brillante Mendoza, and no less than the Stars for All Seasons Ms. Vilma Santos.
Forteza is currently seen in GMA primetime series Meant To Be.

Present in the story conference are Star Cinema's big boss Malou Santos and Creative Director Olivia Lamasan. The movie will be written by Jen Chuaunsu and directed by Prime Cruz.

Bela Padilla, Yassi Pressman sign exclusive contract with ABS-CBN
Bela Padilla and Yassi Pressman are now both certified kapamilyas as they inked a two-year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN.
The contract signing was held at Restaurant 9501 in ABS-CBN Thursday, February 23. Present in the contract signing are ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlos Katigbak and ABS-CBN Channel Head Cory Vidanes.
Both stars are former talents of ABS-CBN's rival network GMA7 and made their entry to the kapamilya network via it's primetime top-rating program and Coco-Martin-starrer "Ang Probinsyano".
In a separate interview, Padilla denied rumors of romantic relationship with her "My Dear Heart" co-star Zanjoe Marudo. Bela is set to star in a new movie with Jericho Rosales in a Dan Villegas film "Luck at First Sight" under Viva Films..

On the other hand, Yassi became emotional as she treats the contract signing with the network as a big milestone in her career. Yassi is still currently seen in "Ang Probinsyano" as Coco Martin's love interest.
Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual are set to reunite in new movie
In an interview at the "Change Is Beautiful" event last night, Toni revealed the news as what she considered a surprise project with the actor.
"This project actually came out of nowhere. I was supposed to do a different movie and then all of a sudden, everything fell accordingly. Nangyari lahat yung mga schedule namin, the script is so beautiful, it’s something that I wouldn’t want to miss," she said.

Toni said comparing their reunion movie from "Starting Over Again" will be difficult to do as each movie is of different genre.
“Sobrang iba. Actually hindi mo siya puwedeng paglapitin. Magkaibang genre. Hindi ko siya mae-elaborate lahat pero I’ve never been this excited to go back to doing movies nung nabasa ko yung script,” she said.
Star Cinema has yet to announce the still untitled movie and who will be directing it.
Robin Padilla wants to shut down Congress
Actor and known patriot Robin Padilla has expressed his disappointment through his Instagram account @robinhoodpadilla about the issues being given priorities of both the lower and upper house of the Congress.
In his post, Padilla slammed the lawmakers for devoting much of their time for politicking and setting aside the real interest of the people thereby wasting taxpayers' money.
In the end, Padilla wanted lawmakers to start discussing the transition of the country's form of government to FEDERALISM and if not better to shut down the institution (Senate).
The video is part of his speech as a keynote speaker at the 118th anniversary of Malolos Republic in Bulacan.

Is Comedy Queen Aiai Delas Alas moving back to ABS-CBN?
Anyone would ask the same question after she was seen at the 60th birthday celebration of Star Cinema and Star Creatives's lady boss Malou Santos.
Even her bestfriend and co-kapuso star Eugene Domingo was alarmed by such news that Uge was even advised to invite the Comedy Queen while to make a guest appearance in her comedy anthology show over GMA7 "Dear Uge".
In two months, Delas Alas's two-year exclusive contract which signed with GMA Network last April 2015 will soon be expiring. Still no buzz of a possible contract renewal.
And with Kris Aquino out of ABS-CBN, rumors are strengthened of a possible kapamilya comeback. Who knows?

In an interview on TV Patrol which aired on Wednesday, Februaru 22, Gerald was asked if he and Bea are officially together.
"I hope I complement her. She's my better half", the actor said who's turning 28 years old on March 7.
"Ini-enjoy ko iyong partnership - iyong oras na mayroon kasi napaka-busy din niya. So kung anong oras na makakasama ko siya, it's a privilege for me", he added.

A potential blockbuster in hte making, Daniel Padilla wants to work with Sarah Geronimo
Teen King Daniel Padilla and Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo made noise when they did a duet in ASAP last week singing the classic OPM hit "Ako'y Sa Iyo, Ikaw'y Akin". The video made it to Twitter's trending list.
In a recent interview, Daniel was asked at Vice Ganda's Valentine's Day concert in Araneta about the possbile team-up. Buzz has it that it was Daniel himself who went up and talked to Star Magic's top man, Mr. M, that he wanted to have a project with Sarah.
If it's possible, if he could be paired with other stars, which is apparent, he wanted to be no other than Matteo Guidicelli's girlfriend. Daniel confirmed this in the interview.
“Nasabi ko kay Mr. M na kung magkakaroon man ako ng movie na kasama 'yung iba, [sana] si Miss Sarah Geronimo. Miss Sarah Geronimo… ‘Yun lang naman ‘yun,”, a video clip of the interview was shown in the February 16 episode of Tonight With Boy Abunda.
When asked if there will be ever a chance for that and he replied, “Siya (Mr. M) na raw bahala!”
In the meantime we could only wait and watch everything develop if it ever happens.

Ex-lovers Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga talk and settle things before flying to US for concert
Star Magic, the management handling the careers of former lovers Erich Gonzales and Daniel Matsunaga, has released a statement on Thursday and said that money had nothing to do with the breakup.
Erich and Daniel met with to discuss the issues involving their split, ABS-CBN New reported. The ex-couple also asked the public to give them a chance to patch things up privately.
Here's the statement of Star Magic released;
"Nagharap kahapon sina Erich Gonzales at Daniel Matsunaga sa Star Magic office para pagusapan ang mga issues na may kinalaman sa kanilang hiwalayan. Naging maayos ang usapan nilang dalawa. Walang kinalaman ang pera o third party sa kanilang paghihiwalay. Pakiusap nina Erich at Daniel na huwag idamay ang kanilang pamilya sa issue. Hiling rin ng dalawa ang pag-unawa at pagkakataong maayos ng pribado ang kanilang relasyon. Maraming salamat po."
Exactly a week ago, fans were shocked when Erich revealed that they were no longer together.

This revelation came after her social media followers noticed that she had deleted all her photos with Daniel and even with his family. Despite the obvious, Daniel refused to admit the end of their relationship, while Erich further clarified that they were no longer talking. Both agreed that there was no third party involved. However, Erich did not confirm nor deny speculations that finances had something to do with their split.
This prompted Matsunaga's sister Vanessa to ask her to clarify rumors about money problems between the two. Provoked, Erich released a statement that she promises to tell everything.
Nonetheless, the timing of the talk casts doubt, as the two are flying abroad for shows. Incidentally, despite the setback in their personal lives, Daniel is bound for a new reality show with other celebrities from the network. Recently, Erich renewed her contract with ABS-CBN.

Fresh from his sold out Valentine concert in Araneta Coliseum two days ago, Vice Ganda once again proves he's still a kapamilya! The Unkabogable Star has renewed his exclusive contract with ABS-CBN Thursday afternoon, February 16.
Present in the contract signing are ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak, ABS-CBN Channel Head Cory Vidanes, and Dreamscape Head Deo Endrinal.
Vice Ganda is regularly seen in the network's noontime show It's Showtime and every Sunday on Gandang Gabi Vice.

My Ex And Whys makes P27 million on its first day at the box office
The latest movie from Star Cinema My Ex And Whys which stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil made a whooping PHP27 million on its first day at the box office.
Star Cinema announced on their social media accounts late Wednesday night.
The film follows the story of Cali (Soberano) a blogger who owns the upcoming blog, "The Bakit List," and her ex Gio (Gil) who will return to her life unexpectedly and surprisingly.

Directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, the movie initially ran at 230 theaters nationwide and is expected to add additional theaters tomorrow.
Update:
Star Cinema has released My Ex And Whys's official first day box office gross Thursday morning and it has reached to as high as P31.5 million. The number of theaters screening the movie also went up to 250 cinemas.

Known for his dressing up A-list stars in showbiz, Herrera's portfolio is without a doubt in its prime. He is best known for dressing celebrities like Kim Chiu, Xian Lim, Kris Aquino, Janella Salvador, Regine Velasquez, and Alden Richards

Maja Salvador and Jessy Mendiola renew ABS-CBN contract
ABS-CBN actresses Maja Salvador and Jessy Mendiola have each renewed their contracts with ABS-CBN Network on Thursday, February 9.
The contract signing was witnessed by ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak and ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes.
Salvador will soon star in an upcoming ABS-CBN series Wildflower which would pair her up with JC De Vera and two other up and coming actors.

Mendiola, meanwhile, has on-going Sunday comedy show Banana Sundae.

ABS-CBN actress Erich Gonzales has confirmed rumors that she and boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga have broken up.
“It's true po. We're not together anymore. It’s over, Gonzales told reporters after her renewing her contract with the kapamilya network on Thursday, February 9.

“To be honest po, ayaw ko po sanang mag-detalye. I just want to move on."
The actress also denied claims of Matsunaga on his Instagram post that they're talking to fix the relationship.
"Hindi po kami nag-uusap. It’s not true that we are talking. Hindi po kami magkaibigan," she said. Erich, however, confirmed Daniel’s statement that there was no third party involved.
The actress has also confirmed that she has deleted their photos on her Instagram account and unfollowed Daniel and his family.
“I think I just have to accept na may mga bagay po talagang we cannot control. Life goes on,” she said. “I deleted the photos. I unfollowed them. I just want to help myself.”
When asked what she has learned from their relationship, she said: “Siguro kapag nagmahal ka, kailangan magtira ka para sa sarili mo.”
Gonzales said she is not yet open to being friends with Matsunaga again.

Gonzales surprised fans online when she appeared with her new hairstyle - shorter than her previous cut. The actress and her boyfriend Daniel Matsunaga are rumored to have ended their almost two-year old relationship.
Daniel has denied in his Instagram account that no third party was involved and asked netizens to respect what's going between the two of them.
"We have nothing against each other and my love for her will always be there. So sa lahat ng mga haters, I just hope you guys respect her. Tama na please. Grabe kayo."
Meanwhile, Erich has yet to speak up about their relationship.
