Actress Heart Evangelista posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram upon learning Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago's death on Thursday morning, Septenber 29.
She wrote...
"My mommy,my Tita,my Elizabeth Taylor,my lawyer, my mentor my everything... I don't know what to say... I cannot say goodbye 😢 I just can't... You put so much happiness and positivity in my life that I just can't imagine I can't call you ever again... Tita, I remember you telling me it will be like you just travelled to see your son who you just imagine is studying abroad... I might have to think like that for now...I love you my super hero... I will miss you my cleopatra... I will be the luckiest girl in history to have you as my 2nd mom. I love you so much!!!! Until we meet again my mommy m..."
Evangelista considers the late senator her super hero, her Cleopatra, and her second mom.
It was the late Senator who was instrumental to Heart and husband Senator Chiz Escudero's love story. She introduced Heart to Chiz after the former broke up with her boyfriend, Daniel Matsunaga. She told Heart to go out and date single men.
