Last Monday, two new series from both networks made its pilot run on television. ABS-CBN's The Greatest Love TGL which replaced Tubig at Langis on Kapamilya Gold bloc and GMA7's Someone To Watch Over Me which replaced Juan Happy Love Story JHLS in the primetime block.
So how did the two news shows fare in the ratings game?
Based on the data released by Kantar Media, TGL won by more than 3% against its GMA7 rival Sa Piling Ni Nanay SPNN with 12.3%
TGL's predecessor Tubig at Langis TAL registered an all-time high ratings on its finale episode with 21.6 % against SPNN with 12.3%.
Someone To Watch Over Me debuted with 12.0% against its ABS-CBN rival Till I Met You with 26.9%
