Atom Araullo has moved from ABS-CBN to GMA7.. But this is old news since his transfer was announced by the kapuso network last September 21 via its flagship news program 24 Oras.
In a press conference held for him by the network Friday afternoon, October 6, Atom will be hosting a special documentary on Philippine Seas which will have a telecast on November 5.
The documentary will tackle the environment aspects of Benham Rise and a touch of socio-political aspect of it.
As a kapuso , he will become part of DMA7's documentary team of I-Witness including Kara Daiv, Sandra Aguinaldo, Jay Taruc, and Howie Severino.
Atom was was a kapamilya for a decade. He was a news reporter for TV Patrol, Bandila, and the ABS-CBN News Channel, until he resigned as a news reporter in August 2016. But Atom remained a kapamilya as co-host for the morning show Umagang Kay Ganda.

Araullo is also set to star in his own film tavkling the life of a photojournalist which was helmed by Mike De Leon. Play date is yet to be released.
