Kapamilya actresses Angelica Panganiban, Julia Montes, and Angel Locsin are all winners at 2015 Gawad Tanglaw Awards for Film and TV.
Angel Locsin was chosen Best Actress by the award-giving body composed of members of the academe for her powerful performance as the scorned wife in ABS-CBN's 2014 hit drama The Legal Wife. Julia Montes was also honored for the same category for her convincing portrayal of a loyal friend and a secret admirer as Mona in Ikaw Lamang.
Meanwhile, Angelica Panganiban and Superstar Nora Aunor tied for Best Actress in Movies for their portrayal in "That Thing Called Tadhana" and "Dementia" respectively. On Instagram, Panganiban had expressed her disbelief on winning the award with the Superstar.
"Please disregard all the cursing. Nag pa-panic ako. Si Nora Aunor yun eh!!! Hindi sya nagsasalita sa mga eksena, kasi d kailangan!!! Kasi yung mata nya.... Madaming ibig sabihin!!! Si Ate Guy!!!
