Singer-comedian Blakdyak was found dead inside his condominium unit in Sampaloc, Manila earlier evening of Monda, November 21.
According to the police, Blakdyak, Joseph Formoran Amoto in real life, was found by his minor son who was sleeping at the other room and wondered why his father was not opening his door. When he checked his father's room, he found him completely naked with a plastic bag around his head.
Police has yet to determine whether there was foul play in the comedian's death.
Hailed from Zambales, Blakdyak rose to fame in the 90s via his novelty hits such as "Modelong Charing," "Noon At Ngayon," and "Asin At Paminta."
In 2014, he made headlines after he was arrested for malicious mischief, alarm and scandal, and illegal possession of drug paraphernalia in his apartment in Cubao.
Despite this, the comedian was able to pick himself up and resume his career. He headlined shows and gigs, and was collaborating with veteran composer Lito Camo for a new album.
He was married to Twinkle Estanislao with whom he has four children.
