Actor Mark Anthony Fernandez is currently detained at the Station 6 in Angeles, Pampanga for alleged possession of illegal drugs.
According to an ABS-CBN News report, the Angeles City Police arrested him after supposedly carrying approximately one kilo of marijuana at around 8:30 p.m. on October 3.
Mark Anthony’s detention comes right on the heels of former actress Sabrina M and Krista Miller’s arrest in separate anti-drug operations in Quezon City.
The actor has undergone two 2-year drug rehabilitations in the past forcing him to take a break from show business. The first one was in 1998 after figuring in an assault case and the second one was in 2003.
However, in 2014, rumors had it that the son of the late Rudy Fernandez had gone back to his old ways. Mark Anthony denied it saying, “Napag-uusapan nga namin ‘yan ng kapatid kong si Vandolph (Quizon), eh. Sabi ko, sana malinaw ko yung mga ganyang bagay.”
