Primera Contravida Princess Punzalan has returned to the country for ABS-CBN's primetime series The Story of Us.
A press conference was set for her by the network to introduce her character to the series which stars Kim Chiu and Xian Lim. Punzalan plays the character Clodetessa, mother of CJ (Bryan Santos) who serves as the third wheel in the Tin (Kim) and Macoy (Xian) love story.
Punzalan who became a household name in the late 90s for portraying the evil aunt of Claudine Barretto in the soap opera Mula sa Puso, had lived in the US for the last decade but decided to return for a project she can't refused.
According to her, “No’ng pinadala sa akin ang character sketch, na-excite ako kasi unang-una, na-miss ko talaga makatrabaho ang ABS-CBN,”
And now that she's back, the veteran actress gives her trademark as primera contravida - her iconic evil laugh.
