GMA7's newest romantic drama series "Meant To Be" made an impressive pilot run as it crushes its five-month old rival "Till I Met You" on the ratings game as seen in the data released by both Kantar Media and AGB Nielsen.
Meant To Be stars kapuso teen queen Barbie Forteza and four neophyte good-looking studs while Till I Met You stars the tried and tested reel and real loveteam of James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
Based on the overnight TV ratings released by Kantar Media, Meant To Be registered 14.1% in the national ratings - a 3.1% lead against Till I Met You with 11%.
AGB Nielsen's NUTAM figures show MTB dominated the timeslot with 14.1% against TIMY with only 9.5%.

Meanwhile, Someone To Watch Over Me's finale last January 6 and Till I Met You are statistically tied in Kantar data with 13.6 and 13.7 ratings respectively. While in AGB ratings, STWOM (17.1%) is a runaway winner against its rival TIMY (11.5%).
