Veteran journalist and columnist Tony Calvento is dead due to multiple organ failure after battle with cancer. His remains lie in state at Chapel 3, The Heritage Park, Taguig. Cremation will be on Oct 14
He was 63.
Tony Calvento is a hard-hitting commentarist in paper. In 1990s Calvento hosted his own crime drama show on ABS-CBN called Calvento Files. It was later adapted to movie which starred Claudine Barretto and Sharmaine Arnaiz.
