Star Cinema's latest movie offering, The Trial, is currently underperforming at the box office. The movie which stars Richard Gomez, Gretchen Barretto, Jessy Mendiola, and John Lloyd Cruz grossed a little less than PHP 30 million on its first five days of showing nationwide.
Dracula Untold came in first with PHP 44.8 million. The figures were based on Box Office Mojo's website posted October 15-19.

Cruz, who's a 4-time GMMSF's Box Office King awardee for movies like The Mistress, You Changed My Life, A Very Special Love, and One More Chance, got to taste an underperforming movie at the box office for the first time after each of his movies grossed not less than PHP 150 million.
The movie, however, is currently receiving rave reviews from critics and the audience alike for its great direction and acting from the cast especially from THE John Lloyd Cruz.
