Mariel Rodriguez surprised the kapamilyas and the netizens online when she made an appearance on ABS-CBN's noontime show It's Showtime as one of the "hurados". The TV host's name trended on Twitter after making a "sampol" by singing lines from the classic song Fallin and continued further even her notes kept on falling.
Rodriguez left ABS-CBN on September 2009 then joined former ABS-CBN noontime host Willie Revillame on TV5. The tv host became non-visible for a year when Revillame's TV5 show went off air last year
