Bride for Rent is truly phenomenal. Just like Praybeyt Benjamin and No Other Woman, both Star Cinema movies, no one ever thought the movie would earn three times more that it was expected to earn. Bride for Rent has earned more than 325 million pesos in less than 4 weeks after it opened last January 15, 2014.
This was confirmed by Star Cinema Adprom head Roxy Liquigan on his Twitter account.

The movie which stars Kim Chiu and Xian Lim was only expected to beat their previous movie Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo but now joins the league of phenomenal box office movies of Vice Ganda, Kris Aquino, and Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz.
To date, Bride for Rent ranks sixth at the all-time top-grossing local movies in the country. Data is based on figures released by film companies.
