The Amazing Race Asia Season 5 Audition Begins

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, Asia is bringing back The Amazing Race Asia for a fifth season.

Hosted by Allan Wu, The Amazing Race Asia Season 5 is looking for couples or pairs (with pre-existing relationships) who are ready to face different challenges as they race around the world.

Contestant Requirements:

1. Aged 21 years old above
2. must have valid passports
3. must be a citizen or resident of Asia
4. Physically and mentally fit
5. must be outgoing, adventurous and socially savvy
6. At least one member must have a driver's license and can drive automatic transmission and manual transmission

Interested applicants would need to fill up the online application form on our website and will have to submit a 3 minute audition video online.

AXN was home to the previous four seasons, with the most recent edition concluding in 2010, and will now air season five. The show will debut in its fifth run on AXN in late 2016. Ten teams chosen from across the Asia-Pacific region will compete for a chance at the winning crown and US$100,000 in cash.

Megastar Sharoun Cuneta and Senator Francis Pangilinan

Sharon and Kiko exchanged vows on April 28, 1996 and they celebrated their 20th anniversary as a married couple yesterday. Sharon's union with Kiko was actually her second. The first one with Gabby Concepcion failed and got annulled.

During that time, Sharon was the most popular star in showbiz with blockbuster movies and a top-rating show while Kko was a lawyer who found his fame on television via ABS-CBN.

ABS-CBN New Series: Because You Love Me starring Yen Santos, Jake Cuenca, and Gerald Anderson

Gerald Anderson and Jake are set to reunite in a new ABS-CBN series "Because You Love Me" with Yen Santos as the soap's female lead. To be directed (again) by Dan Villegas (On The Wings of Love), the cast was presented to the press Wednesday night, April 27.

The series talks about the world of triathlon that's expected to be a light teleserye but will be physically challenging.

Jake and Gerald first worked together in the hit soap Tayong Dalawa seven years ago as both David Garcia. Now that they're back as a tandem again, Gerald won't allow Jake to be naked on TV alone. He'll have his hotness be captured on screen as well. Naman!

Acording to Direk Dan, the series will explore the unknown areas of Mindoro. He also shared that the series will mark his first full-length series.

Because You  Love Me also stars Nico Manalo, Bing Loyzaga, Dante Rivero, Tonton Gutierrez, Joel Torre, and Helen Gamboa.

ABS-CBN New Series: Never Ever Say Goodbye starring Jericho Rosales and Arci Muñoz

After the success of her pre-primetime series with Ellen Adarna and Coleen Garcia in Pasion De Amor and a hit movie with Gerald Anderson, Arci Muñoz is set to star in a new ABS-CBN series to pair her for the first time with Jericho Rosales.

Under the RSB Drama Unit, the soap "Never Ever Say Goodbye" will also feature versatile actor John Estrada and actress Gelli De Belen.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Wednesday, April 27, Arci shared her excitement working with Jericho.

"First time ko siyang na-meet kanina at ano naman po siya, tingin ko naman po ay magiging maayos ang pakikipagtrabaho ko sa kanya. He's very nice and very approachable. I'm just really, really excited," Muñoz said.

When asked for what the series would be like, Arci shared that her character will hail from the province who has a childhood friend (Jericho). She'll leave the province to study in Manila to become a lawyer.

 Never Ever Say Goodbye will be helmed by FM Reyes.

PNoy reveals Abu Sayyaf plot to kidnap Kris Aquino, Manny Pacquiao

President Benigno "PNoy" Aquino III has revealed plans by terrorist group Abu Sayyaf to kidnap Boxing Champ Manny Pacquaio and First Sister Kris Aquino.

The plot was revealed through a press statement of the President to the media on Wednesday, April 27. The revelation was part of the President's official statement on the murder of  John Risdel, a Canadian citizen who was held captive by the group for seven months in Sulu province.

According to the intel received by the Palace, the plot will be used in bargaining for the release of their cohorts. Authorities are already investigating threats on PNoy's life.
