After being accused as home-wrecker a few years ago involving the marriage of Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz, Krista Miller is back and she's the woman of the hour... again. A few days ago, the starlet... err.. Miller got involved in a CCTV controversy as she was seen to enter the hospital room of convicted drug lord Ricardo “Chacha” Camata in Metropolitan Medical Center in Manila.
What's the catch?
Miller entered the room without being searched on first by authorities. This called the attention of the media men, government authorities, and the netizens alike. Why the lax of security? Does Miller have an affair with the convicted drug lord?
Eyebrows reached the high heavens when the starlet... err.. Miller defended herself that she was there to offer Camata a condo unit and not any "entertainment" services.
In June 10 episode of Aquino and Abunda Tonight, Miller had a lot of explaining done how she and Camata first met, what really transpired inside the hospital room, and what she feels being called a starlet.
Miller raised several issues which she wanted to prove the people wrong - one of which is calling her a starlet. Miller said she gets hurt everytime people call her "starlet". According to her, "Kasi kung aalamin natin ang totoong meaning ng starlet, iyon po iyong artistang pasimula pa lang eh."
"Pero syempre iyong ibang tao, binibiygan na po ng pangit na meaning ang salitang starlet. Pero gusto ko pong patunayan sa lahat ng tao na hindi lamang po ako isang starlet at balang araw makikilala rin po ako bilang isang aktres."
When asked by Boy Abunda what she prefers to be called, "Syempre po gusto kong matawag na AKTRES."
