First Look: GMA7's Juan Happy Love Story starring Heart Evangelista and Dennis Trillo

Heart Evangelista-Escudero posted the first photo of her and actor Dennis Trillo as a couple for GMAt's new naughty-romantic drama Juan Happy Love Story.

The actress expressed excitement for the upcoming series and predicted this one will become her favorite soap.

The series is slated to have a pilot episode on April 4.

Kris Aquino to leave ABS-CBN; cites health as reason

The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino has announced on her Instagram account that she will be leaving ABS-CBN, her home network for the last 10,354 days.

In a series of posts, Kris cited health as reason for leaving the broadcast giant. Her contract will end on March 23 this year. Kris knows for a fact that leaving the network means she'll be replaced and soon forgotten.

She added that together with her sons, Josh and Bimby, they will travel, move to their new home, eat healthy, sleep early, exercise regularly, and live quietly
.
But Kris assured fans that it isn't goodbye and promised to be back with a healthy heart.

Cristine Reyes breaks silence; apologizes to Vivian Velez

Kapamilya star Cristine Reyes has finally broken her silence on the feud which involves her and Tubig at Langis co-star Vivian Velez.

Reyes said she has high regard for senior stars and that she treats them with utmost respect. She also denied that she told Velez to vacate the room where they are sharing.

Prior to this, ABS-CBN has released an statement regarding the incident.

The following is a letter sent by Cristine Reyes through Viva Entertainment to entertainment website pep.ph

"I just want to put things in perspective.

I have always put our senior stars in high regard and do my best to treat them with much respect.

In fact, I have not had any incidents like this with anyone, senior or otherwise, on the set of any project until now.”

When we first started taping for Tubig at Langis, everyone was working well together.

But about two weeks ago, I had an issue with the tent assigned to me.

It was infested with so many mosquitos that made it very uncomfortable to stay in.

I was also quite afraid of any of us getting dengue.

The Associate Producer (AP) instructed the production staff to put katol but it proved ineffective.

I endured that taping day with the production’s promise to transfer me to a better dressing room in FUTURE tapings.

I thought that it was not so much to ask because I’m the first to arrive and the last to be packed up most of the time due to the volume of sequences I had to do every taping day.

The next taping after that, I was transferred to a better dressing room.

It was the master’s bedroom of the location we were at.

From then on, that area became my regular dressing room or standby area.

Last Thursday (March 3), the Executive Producer (EP) asked me if Ms. Vivian can share the dressing room with me because her assigned area was not ready to be occupied yet.

I of course agreed. I was fine sharing a room with any of my co-stars for as long as we have mutual respect.

I would not have agreed with production if I had any ill feelings towards Ms Vivian.”

My staff and I came from shooting for a movie that day so we were all tired.

We tried to get some rest and sleep in the bedroom but Ms Vivian made it difficult for us.

She was busy fixing her things and in the process made a lot of noise.

She was also arguing with her Production Assistant then quite loudly that made sleeping impossible at that point.

At some point I stood up to use the rest room and was annoyed to see the toilet bowl unflushed, so when I went out I immediately called my make-up artist's attention thinking it was he who last used the bathroom.

I went out to get some air and went to where the common area for artists and production was. The EP asked me why I was there. I said that it was difficult to sleep with Ms Vivian inside the room.

The EP told me not to worry because Ms Vivian’s dressing room will soon be ready.”

To quote the EP: ‘Pagpasensiyahan mo na. Mawawala na din siya sa show kase nag-demand si Vivan na kung hindi papalitan ang wardrobe at stylist, patayin na lang daw siya sa show.’

Some time passed and finally the dressing room of Ms Vivian was ready.

From what I understand, she was first notified by the production assistants and upon being notified she threw a fit blaming me for her transfer.

The EP immediately tried to pacify her but she stood her ground and continued shouting, telling everyone that I was the one booting her out of the room.

It was then that I found out that the room assigned to me weeks back after the tent and mosquito incident used to be hers. I was not privy to this and so I fully understood what she was going through.

I then opted to just transfer and move out from the room assigned to me to ease tensions.

Later I spoke to the EP and requested a dialogue with Ms Vivian so I can make it clear with her that I had nothing to do with the request for her to transfer rooms.

To be very clear about it, I never requested anyone at any point for Ms Vivian to be transferred rooms.

In fact, I gladly welcomed production’s request for her to share a room with me while her room was still unavailable.

And despite the inconvenience I encountered while she was around, I had no intentions whatsoever of booting her out.

The EP told me that it was impossible at that time to have a dialogue with Ms Vivian because her emotions were still so high.

I did not want to push it too and, out of frustration and stress, I cried to my co-star Zanjoe Marudo.”

Thursday taping finally packed up so we all went home with this issue unresolved.

Saturday taping followed, and upon arriving on the set, I was still stressed out that the incident has yet to reach any kind of resolution.

My co-stars on the set were joking around with me about the incident with jokes like, and I quote, ‘AA, sasabay daw si Ms Vivian sa car mo paglipat natin ng location, ayos lang ba?’ etc etc.

Our EP heard the jokes and instructed my co-stars to stop fooling around about the issue because the atmosphere is tense enough already.

The EP turned to me and said, and I quote, ‘Konting tiis na lang AA. Sa Monday kakausapin na siya ng management para sa pagkawala niya sa show.’

Still I would’ve appreciated a resolution better because I had nothing to do with the issue of Ms Vivian's source of anger. It was the production staff that was trying to transfer her and not me.

I in fact made the initiative to be the one to transfer dressing rooms that day to stop the issue then.”

I was so stressed that when it was finally time for me to do a scene where Ms Vivian will be present I was trying to motivate myself by just singing Avril Lavigne’s ‘Goodbye’ song before doing the scene.

It was of course subliminal because of my knowledge of her departure from the show.

It was short of saying to myself precisely what the EP informed me earlier.

More than anything, it was my way of dealing with the situation to get the job done.

The scene was shot and thank God it was not with Ms Vivian directly but with Zanjoe.

Ms Vivian was also there but her point of view was also with Zanjoe.”
When the taping of the scene was done, I was still stressed and continued singing while I was walking up the stairs towards my dressing room to ease some of my stress and tension.

It was at the point where I was on the stairs that Ms Vivian and her make-up artist charged towards me.

Ms Vivian started to shout at me and, I quote, ‘Ako ba ang pinariringgan mo!? Sino ka ba?! Superstar ka ba?!

I got rattled at this point and I just answered her in a mild manner, ‘Kumakanta lang naman ako, masama ba kumanta?'

And it was at this point that Zanjoe pulled me away from the scene because he was alarmed with the way both Ms Vivian and her make-up artist were charging toward me.”
I am sorry that some gaps in the communication between the production staff, Ms Vivian, and myself escalated some issues.

I reiterate that I wanted them resolved soonest for everyone’s peace of mind.

I am also sorry that emotions got so heightened that some of my actions were misconstrued for rudeness when they were, more than anything else, my own way of coping with the stressful working conditions on the set in this particular instance.

But I sincerely apologize if it hurt Ms Vivian or anybody else.

I do have high regard for and respect with thanks senior artists who have paved the way for stars like me in the industry."

Maine "Yaya Dub" Mendoza gets hospitalized

After Alden Richards' minor car accident last week, Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub was brought to hospital earlier this afternoon, March 8, while working on KalyeSerye of Eat Bulaga.

Fresh from her Boracay vacation, it was her first day to report to the noontime show. Everything seems well at first until the last part of the Kalyeserye segment where some delays got noticeable.

Moments after, Maine was seen walking slowly escorted by an EB staff to the vehicle. She was brought to the University of Perpetual Help Medical Center in Biñan, Laguna and later to St. Luke's Medical Center - Global City in Taguig.

But the other half of AlDub assured fans on Twitter that she's alright and tweeted

The facebook page of Eat Bulaga also assured fans that Maine is alright after being checked by doctors and nurses. It turned out that she complained of pains on her sides.

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim reminisces their former director Francis Pasion

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, the "Nagmamahalan kami" couple, posted on their separate Instagram accounts reminiscing their moments with their former director Francis Pasion.

KimXI first worked with the late director in the 2011 tv series "My Binondo Girl". Pasion's death was unexpected following a cardiac arrest while at his apartment in Quezon City last Saturday

Kim wrote, "ngayon lang pumasok sa isip ko na wala kana talaga direk, ang hirap paniwalaan.. Paalam sa isang napaka buti , husay at magaan katrabahong director, light lang lahat and you always give that sweet smile.. Salamat dahil isa ka sa naniwala sa kimxi (BinindoGirldays) ikaw ang one of the first two directors na nakasama namin.. ABS-CBN releases official statement on Vivian Velez-Cristine Reyes feud

ABS-CBN Network has released its official statement through its official PR account on Instagram regarding the feud between Vivian Velez and Cristine Reyes - stars of the networ's afternoon series Tubig at Langis.

Through its statement, the network clarified that Reyes did not ask Velez to move out of the room where they both share. The production team claimed responsible on the miscommunication of the two stars. Furthermore, the network said the staff has no problem with Cristine's work ethics.

However, the statement did not clarify other points that Velez raised on her Facebook posts.

The network has reached out to both stars and hoping that the issue would be resolved soon.

Xian Lim on real score with Kim Chiu, "Mahal na mahal ko si Kim pero...:"

In the grand press conference held for the 1-week old ABS-CBN series "The Story of Us" this afternoon, March 8, the lead stars were asked for the nth time about the real score of their relationship.

Xian admitted that he's not afraid of loving Kim nor afraid of kissing her. He's also not afraid to show to the people how much he loves Kim but wary that things might get complicated.
