We were in awe after ABS-CBN news reporter Atom Araullo posted on his Twitter account about him being featured in a meme.
As what any average Filipino knows, several atoms, being the basic element of a chemical element, compose a single molecule as pictured below.
But the former "Sine Skwela" kid has a different view on this.
"For the record, this seems to represent a lattice more than a molecule. #LatticeAraullo #patol"
His explanation of the photo made our jaws dropped and our nose bleed. WTF is a lattice? So we did a little research and found out that a lattice is "a regular repeated three-dimensional arrangement of atoms, ions, or molecules in a metal or other crystalline solid".
So for clarity, we made a comparative representation of a lattice and a molecule.
So guys, do it the right way.
